In my current job I investigate what consumers do with food and what food does to consumers. I am especially interested in the interaction between food, cognition and behaviour.
I have a background in language and communication sciences. In my academic career I combined insights from theoretical linguistics, psycholinguistics and cognitive neuroscience to get a better understanding of the language system as well as the language processing system. My work focused mainly on language in interaction, pragmatics and discourse processing, but I have also worked on the interaction between language and cognition (see previous projects).
